A month ago the recruiter said that they are waiting on some approvals and once it is done we will be issuing the offer letter but I haven't heard back any other update since then. Am I getting rejected or is it normal to be on hold without any update for a month at this stage?

I’m graduating in December, with a background in environmental economics and policy. Consulting didn’t work out this cycle. Made it to final rounds for Bain and Kearney but in the end didn’t get an offer. I want to recoup and try again, but I’m worried that once I’m out of undergrad the door will be closed to starting in consulting.

What can I do to make this happen? I have friends and connections at Bain and Kearney and the other firms as well, but not sure if it’s feasible now.

After being mugged and having my things (including my keys) stolen, I was locked out of my townhome after business hours on a weekend. I was told on the phone when dialing my complex’s after hours number (which is managed by a 3rd party company) that my complex’s policy would let me in for a cost of $100 (as it was after hours). After I was let in, property manager informed me the charge was $200. Is there anything I can do here? This is in Minnesota. Help appreciated!!
