Anyone been to the priority pass lounges in Istanbul? Have a long layover but I can't tell if you have to exit the terminal to get to them (as in would have to go through security again etc)

The Turkish airlines lounge is seriously the coolest place I have ever been

like

The Turkish lounge is totally worth visiting, there is so much to do in there (golf simulator, RC cars, video games, booze, great food...)

like

If you have *A Gold, I'd recommend one of the Turkish lounges, I've heard great things

I've never been to the lounges, but I've been through Istanbul security since the attack and it was a massive pain in the you know what. It's a big airport and there are a bunch of shops if you don't end up getting into the lounge.

Also, if it's over 5 hours, I'd go into the city and see some sights. It's a beautiful city and the metro gets directly to them from the airport.

Going to echo everyone else- the Turkish lounge is amazing! There are bedrooms and showers..it's 3 floors and the food is incredible. I'm not sure if it's PP though- it might be business class only

They got nice amenities - platinum execs get to survive the stay. Gold get minimal stays in arrest.

Is it bad manners or just a bad idea to go back to a recruiter if they got you a job that wound up being a bad fit?
For context, I don’t think they misled me. The job changed 3 weeks after I got hired, and got stuck in a role that’s just not a good fit. Gave it 6 months of honest effort and I’m ready to start job hunting.
I saw this recruiter make a post on LinkedIn, and I liked working with them the first time, and I want to reach out. But I don’t know what they’ll think.

Recently accepted a temp role as an HR admin for a former employer. Previously interned there & left because my supervisor did not have any growth opportunities planned out for me; this was in spite of my stellar performance, as reflected in my 90 day review. She has since left the company, but there’s crazy turnover in the company & in the HR department in particular. Just that an HR coordinator resigned. Is it worth going back into a dumpster fire w/ no leadership to gain experience?

I have given my interview in HCL and cleared 1 TP, 1 hcl manager & Client TP and Client Manager rounds .
In initial screening HR told the generic statement of 30-40% and I have given my ask as 50% minimum. After clearing the rounds I heard from the project team that Client has given great feedback and wanted to take me in .
What is the % I can ask in HR Discussion and will they reject in HR if I ask more now .
I have 9.5 years total experience and role is Storage Architect.
Thanks

A Partner asked me to “monitor” her Outlook and gave me access. Basically the ask is to delete or “read” unnecessary emails/forward work to managers/forward invites to her admin. Is this normal? Never had to monitor someone else’s Outlook at my previous firm and this feels like an admin work. I am a new experienced hire (S3) FYI.

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. I have a whole bunch of certifications in my industry…but just no formal degree. (cont'd)
