When you look to choosing a position to apply for and lets assume you get to be choosy - will you go for a org with big HR team or smaller HR team? Currently an hrbp for a medium global org with 10 hrbps in the Americas org supporting different groups/ regions like i support canada and a business group - looking at a role where hrbp report to sr hrbp and she reports to Vp of HR. Has anyone dealt with financing a non-warrantable condo? About to drop out of the deal because I can’t find a lender. My finances are fully in order, issue is the building.

I’m really discouraged. My after tax / after 401k contributions etc. take home pay is $6,500 monthly. I have $60,000 in savings / stocks for a down payment but even looking at a $550,000 home, my monthly payment would be about $3,400 from the calculators I’ve been using. Is that too high?

So discouraged that houses where I live are about 50% higher than what they were 2 years ago, and now interest rates are around 5.25% for my credit score. This is like a 1750 sq foot home

Buying new home first time in Austin, what you recommend to do 10% down payment or 20%. If I do 20% then saving around 60k in a year. Considering inflation is coming and house prices is going down day by day.

Any recommendation for best brokers / banks for jumbo mortgage rates? NY metro area. Was quoted ~5.6% last week from Guaranteed Rate, but not sure if they’re brokering or lending themselves. If the former, I’d think I could find better rate going direct to lender.

Hi all! I’m new! I started the year off planning to save for a home for myself, then rates skyrocketed. So we’re holding off. Fast forward to the final quarter of the year and we were presented with the idea of a residential assisted living facility. The problem there is we’d still need to acquire property in order to run one. The only difference is the RAL would be a business and is already registered as such. Does anyone have any experience here?
