Any recommendations on employment law firms that we should be aware of?
Increased workload across the board and I get the feeling this is a sham to get people to quit. Would be great to share best practices on how to build proof of performance to challenge any unfair performance claims.

I currently make 78k at Lockheed but I’m not doing what I’d like to be doing and i felt stuck and after many conversations with my manager and no solution in sight, I started applying elsewhere. I just recently got an offer from a smaller AI company for 95k that I plan to accept. I’m happy to make the jump, I just don’t know how my manager/coworkers will react when I tell them I’m leaving.

What’s the symbol that you can type in a cell so you can input a text, but that text would not appear in the spreadsheet? I want to describe the formula without using a text box, which uses more space.

The equivalent of this is in SQL, you can use the apostrophe in the beginning of and end of a text. That text will not affect the function of the query, but that text can be seen if you proofread the query.

Additional Posts in Amazon UK & EU

Hi I am making an internal move (Program Management) in the same org but different team, from London to another EU locale . The offer unfortunately did not offer relocation package. Am I able to negotiate salary (pounds to €) , or is it fixed and no room for negotiation? Thanks

Hello all,

I am currently in the process for interviewing for a role at
Amazon for their office in Basildon in corporate (HR if it wasn't implied by my title). Spoke to the recruiter and on my application it will be £55k base but wondered what level is that and what leeway I have for bonus (sign on) and what is the RSU looking like. I am also needing some help if possible please on the interview process as I would really like to get this since it is my dream job.

Any help appreciated.

Hi guys - I accepted my offer from Amazon yesterday (via email). I received my Amazon Joiner Support email earlier today. I was wondering when was the best moment for me to resign and give my notice? Feels like they’re doing employer checks and visa checks before sending out the employment contract… Im currently pre-settled status in the UK, and wondering how to best approach this. Any tips are welcome. Thanks, x

Hi all! Received an offer today for London - the position is L5

Base: 55k

Cash Payments:

Y1: 17K

Y2: 16K

RSU: 500 shares (Y1: 25 Shares, Y2: 75 Shares, Y3: 200, Y4: 200)

Keen to get feedback. Feel that the base salary was too low but from my conversation with the recruiter there might be wiggle room on the cash payments potentially. What are your thoughts? Any tips appreciated!

Thanks

Has everyone had their PCS? If so, please share!

Hi everyone.
Just reached final on-site round for a Senior Manager position (non tech) in the logistics department (London office). Recruiter has just asked me now for my expected compensation (base salary + total comp) via email before scheduling the loop. Any idea what to aim for?

I don’t know the level but was aiming £80k base, +15% bonus. If I don’t fall under their budget, would I automatically be removed from candidates?

Background: 7YOE, 2 Masters Degree
Any tips are appreciated!

Hi team. I received my offer from Amazon and signed my contract a few weeks ago. I also resigned from my current company after agreeing on a starting date mid-January. Seeing the news of the hiring freeze worries me though - do we know if this applies to roles where offers have been extended? Could they retract an offer after I signed a contract? Not sure what are my rights. Let me know if you have any tips/knowledge to share!

Hi all! I’m currently on promo track for L6 BDM this quarter in London and wondered what the base salary increase % might look like? Would be great to have an idea of what I can expect 😊
Thanks!
