Was about to go “of counsel” with my firm of 6 years, but then another firm whose partners I really respect (and personally like) offered me a partnership position. I’ve been negotiating a settlement on behalf of a client. OP is a major corp. we’ve gone back and forth for months, almost a year. Finally came to a final agreement and we’re reviewing for final signature. Then client is reviewing and decides they want something else modified. It’s a point of contention. OP has said no. Should I communicate this to client before pushing back against OP’s rejection of the mod?

Can I export a list with all emails I sent for the month? I would like to use it to compare to my billed time to make sure I don’t miss anything. Usually I go through my sent inbox but it has so much extra info so it’s not a quick scan. Plus outlook does weird things sometimes like combines conversations so I only see most recent sent item in that convo. Alternatively, do you have a good way confirming you caught all of your email time?
