I had my capgemini hr round cleared on 7th October , and on 8th October , she said she has sent mail for business approval ?

CTC offered - 14 Lac ( fixed )
Current CTC - 5 6 LAC

My question is how many days does it takes to release offer letter ?
Is the salary offered good or should I try for more negotiation ?

For any of you real estate investors, what tools or sources did you learn from when getting started. Can’t find a mentor currently so want to find some highly recommended books or videos. If focused on the tri-state area (NY, NJ, Long Island mainly) that would be even better. NJ market - Cousin of mine who has >500 rental properties advised that over next 3 yrs it’s possible for me to get 3 multi-fams if I buy 1 every year for next 3 years, by doing FHA on the first so 3.5% down and then doing less than 10% down on the next 2 if I do it right. Everywhere I read not seeing how that’s possible. can anyone explain pls? Is there a hack that after getting the 1st owner-occupied prop, I don’t have to put more than 10% down on 2nd home, and on 3rd??

Who is still in denial about a housing correction? The Fed just made another .75% increase. Powell said they won’t stop until inflation is 2%. He also said a recession would be better than the consequences of unchecked inflation. He announced he will bring rates to a “restrictive level” until “the job is done”. He said that labor demand needs to soften (ie: layoffs). He very explicitly said he wants to slash demand and that housing needs a “correction”.

Due to a family situation we are looking to move to a different state. Normally we would sell our current home and buy a new home in our new location. However, with todays prices and interest, will it make more sense to rent out our current home and rent a home ourselves vs. selling and buying immediately when we move? Question for folks with second homes: Considering buying a vacation home but would be primarily for family use. We currently have a primary residence with a mortgage balance of ~640K, so my understanding is I could only deduct the mortgage interest on 110K of the second mortgage to stay under the 750K cap. If I were to buy the second home through an LLC, would that allow me to exceed that 750K since the expenses of the second home would be pass through expenses/income?
