Any thoughts on taking an entry level role at BCG v a promotion at S& (b school equivalent)? Contd

I have 3yrs of experience as a Customer Service Associate. I want to change my line of work as it is very monotonous. Can anybody suggests me what are the different roles I can apply for with my current skillset?

Are there certain firms that are more accepting of Tax backgrounds entering advisory positions? I’m a CPA with a couple years regional tax experience looking to transition to advisory/deals, but have struggled getting big 4 advisory interviews even with solid recommendations.
I’ve heard there’s solid opportunities in advisory type work for some other large firms outside big 4. Has anybody made a similar transition?

I work as a worker’s compensation adjuster and I cannot seem to get the hand of loss of time. Been in the same role for a year. Any piece of advise? I have made several improvements but it feels like I’m dragging it out. Last question is how do you manage claims that you have not handle for months and you’re too scared to do anything.

I’m a first year associate (almost second year). I work at a national firm and I’m not a litigator. When I started with the firm, I was told I could work out of any office. PPMD 🐠 - As a senior assistant I want to go above and beyond with my partners. I am lucky enough to know the teams very well and my PPMDs are amazing!
