Save jobs on LinkedIn throughout the week (lots of saving on lots of jobs). Spend the Saturday reviewing all saved jobs for ones you feel you’re a great fit for and/or the role is what you want. Spend Sunday applying to said shortlist of jobs.
This is a great way of structuring my time during the week so I know what applications to focus on during the weekend. Thanks for the tip!
I’m fascinated my the 6pm-7pm comment. Do you think that’s late? Genuinely curious.
I’ve worked at lots of different types of places and I feel like 6 PM is the earliest I’ve ever left on a “regular” day. Usually about 6:30p unless something is going on. I think that I would feel like I had a good work/life balance leaving then. .
Are you tired? Get up. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and get up. Push yourself.
One of my best friends in college used to say this: "I would never say 'I have tried my best', because that would mean that's my cap, my maximum capacity"
You're never done. You can do more, you can become more.
Get up.

I also feel exhausted job hunting after long days, try to at least scroll through LinkedIn during my commute home. See if you can devote a small, 20-30 min skim to it each day and go from there.
Thanks for your kindness! You too, my fellow friend.
I scroll LinkedIn at work when I get frustrated at something (which happens a lot). It’s tiring but future you will thank you for it when you get out of it.
Thanks. Yeah had a bit of freelance and on the lookout for the right agency I'd love to work at
Turn on “Open to new opportunities” on LinkedIn. Recruiters will most likely reach out.
Also take some time to refresh your resume and apply for anything that sounds interesting. Don’t bother with cover letter.
Thanks for the tips! Curious as to why you suggest not doing a cover letter - I've always done a cover letter (even if optional) to show why I'm suited to the role/company and I figured the other side would appreciate the extra effort put in the application.
Apparently you don't want a new job that badly 🤷♂️
See if you can spend 10-20min a day towards that goal. And give up a day on the weekend if you have to.
Thanks for the tip - I forget that spending a few minutes each day really adds up in the end. Each day I have the intention to spend a few solid hours on job hunting but then it feels overwhelming when I come home, especially after a long day.
Get connected with a recruiter. I had one during my earliest roles in my career. It was less about being tired and more about me not having a ton of connections in my city and industry starting out. Industry recruiters support all levels for job searchers PLUS they give you awesome feedback on your resume and sight into the salary ranges you should target. Good luck!
They do need some type of direction and specific guidance on your area of focus so they can best pitch you for roles. They don’t function as coaches but can give you some feedback if you’re weighing your next steps
