Hi Fishes,
Many peoples saying product based company will pay more than service based company.
But I think nowadays service based companies are paying more than services based.
Actually Tiaa global business services is product based company but not even ready to match the offer. Before interview they are ready to give package but once interview get cleared they will not ready to pay package based on your expectation.

Thought this was interesting. Across 160 teams of researchers, just about all failed to make good life outcome predictions on things like GPA, evictions, layoffs, and others. Data followed 4.5k families across 15 years, with 13k features (varied over time). Haven't looked at it directly yet, but will be turning the docs and data inside out... In the meantime, authors claim this as showing the limits of ML. Oh, and it's published in PNAS, so you know there's some big publication energy there.

Make sure it’s a topic that you have hands on experience in and is relevant to the role. Be prepared to answer follow up questions and make sure you have enough back ups of your presentation (usb, google drive, etc..)
Is this what lighthouse super day was?
I heard some of the interviewees speaking to each other in the break room what their topics were. Some were really interesting, others were broad. I was able to listen on to some of the interviews because the person interviewing was speaking so loud. Sounded really interesting. Heard him ask what the package tidyverse was in R. Then the interviewer preceded to put the beginning of a problem on the board mentioning tidyverse and asked him to summarize something. But to summarize the interviewee would have had to use the dplyr package. I could tell this was for an associate position. I stopped listening after. So they definitely want to see your technical skills. I was always interested in Lighthouse but unfortunately they didn’t recruit for this at my campus. I’m in advisory.
KPMG1 it was the atl Ignition Office. Yes I can see the need for both skills. My group was originally under RC but got changed to a new group under advisory. My group is now working with both RC and MC. Are changes always happening?
