I’m currently in a lease admin type role, in commercial real estate. I make a base salary of $50.5K with about $9k in bonuses. I’ve continuously received 7-10% raises over the last 3 years. I anticipate getting a promotion this year and would like to get closer to $60k for my base salary. I’m the only person in my role at the company and have been a key person in developing our team as we look to expand. Is this unreasonable? Is there a normal increase given with promotions? I've become really jaded about consulting. I find all so often you need to tell the client what they want to hear to keep their business and I feel like so much of the what I recommend doesn't actually get implemented. I'm looking to make a career switch so I can both create and execute on my strategies. A product management path seems very promising for this.

It constantly amazes me how non-responsive recruiters can be. Countless times I’ve reached out to recruiters on LinkedIn and gotten zero response, and then the hiring manager responds within a day. It’s literally your job to respond to candidates. Between that and just ghosting my mind is always blown at the lack of attention and care.
