I was contacted by an Amazon recruiter for a remote Sr. Program Manager role. I took and passed the assessment and was moved to the hiring manager round which was scheduled for tomorrow. I got an email tonight saying that the Director of the group decided that the person must be in Seattle. I am in Austin, which is not an option. I’m disappointed! The recruiter will let me know if any remote roles come up but in the mean time, does anyone have any remote Amazon roles that they’d refer me to?

Comp Inquiry for Facebook (Meta) - fish! Help me out. I’m a seasoned Program Manager. With more than 15 years of ERP Consulting experience from Deloitte. Looking to join FBs in a program Manager capacity for IT projects. What should I expect in terms of comp and benefits? I’m expecting at least 175k base with benefits. Not sure what to expect for joining and annual bonus. Appreciate your input and help!

Just go high. No harm. They’ll likely tell you if it’s out of range, give you a range, and then you can still proceed.
Your base will be $185K (max base for ANY role in Amazon) and your stock will bring you up to your TC target, but it won't kick in until year 3 (due to their back-weighted vesting schedule). So they will provide a sign-on bonus to make you whole for the first two years. Thus, if you require $300K, the sign-on bonus would likely be $230K ($600K - 2x$185K)

You phrased it as “if you want 300k, they will give you 300k” and made it sound odd with “to make you whole” 😂. This role does not earn 300k.
You have dozens of friends who made 7 figure sign on bonuses with Amazon? I’ll call your bluff on that one. Your understanding of comp here is misinformed. And stop trying to add together comp for multiple years. No one counts their bonus by adding it together for two years — that’s just skewing it to sound higher.
