Got it! Thanks!
It covers a fair amount depending on your clinic and their pricing, as well as what specialty pharmacy you’re getting your meds from. Again, depending on clinic pricing, you should be able to get 2-3 egg retrieval cycles + 2 transfer cycles. You’ll have to pay a bit OOP for some of the appointments, but overall I found a good portion of (~80%) my costs were covered.
Also if you’re trying to preserve benefits as much as possible, you can choose to pay out of pocket for some of the meds (sometimes there are more preferable rates if you’re paying for meds OOP)
Need to hit deductible first, but that would be hit quickly. Other than that, IVF is covered (10% co-pay until you reach OOP max, which will increase by $1100 in the new plan year) other than out-of-pocket add-ons such as Zymot and EMMA/ALICE (only if it’s indicated).
Most of the associated diagnostic and operative procedures such as hysteroscopy are covered by UHC.
I think $50k can cover 2 retrievals and associated transfers. I have $31k left after 1 retrieval (including all meds) and 1 transfer. Some clinics are more expensive.
