I have a job offer from Meta and awaiting my H1B transfer approval notice. I have never received an H1B visa stamp before. I want to work from India (& get H1 stamped with Meta based on offer letter+approval notice) during my notice period, followed by 2 weeks of unemployment, and start my new job at Meta once I return to the US.

While applying for visa my company quoted 80K as compensation. Now they want to reduce it to 75K.

My H1B is set to expire in Aug 2022, my employer is filing my extension, assuming I will get it till aug 2025 and I need to go to stamping.Parent is sick, needs to undergo a surgery. I want to go to India, to be with her during this time. My question here is if I go for visa stamping will I get stamping till Aug 2022 or aug 2025?
If I get stamping till Aug 2025, Can I come back before aug 2022 without any issue?
If I get stamping till Aug 2022, will there be any issues at port of entry

1. Smaller firm about to be acquired by a larger one, Product Marketing role (title would be Sr. PMM)
2. FAANG, Sales Account Manager role (similar to my current role)
I have 5-6 YOE and have been in an Account Management role for most of my career - is it worth making the switch to PMM at a smaller firm or sticking with what I know at a FAANG? Both would have relatively similar comp. Thanks in advance for your input!

I have relieving letter but no experience letter from one of my previous employer where I worked for 3 months

Fir the new company,third party BGV is not considering relieving letter and pay slips from this employer. They are asking for experience letter only and without that BGV would be not be able to proceed.
I have already requested my previous employer to share the experience letter but they have not reverted yet.
Please suggest if joining new organisation where bgv is going on.

My final round of interview with McKinsey & Company for C&I Analyst happened on 9th Sept.
When I contacted the HR, she said that the feedback of the Evaluator was positive. However, the team will have a call internally to come to a conclusion. This might take 2 weeks.
Can anyone from McKinsey & Company help me what to make out of this situation? Is this common in McKinsey's process? (Entire process took 3 months)

People manager said its not typical support, we'll definitely use your skills don't restrict yourself. Start with it.

After I joining project found its typical L1/L2 support. Tickets like deleting bad data, assigning permission sets etc.

What should I do? I really don't like to work in such a role. How do I convey this now?

Is a hike of 35% worth the switch?

I know couple of years ago this range used to be standard but now I see posts all around here about atleast 70-100% hikes.. making me wonder what's a decent amount to ask for without sounding unrealistic.

I have two offers .
1. JPMC - 29fixed + 3 variable
2. Bank of America - 30 fixed + 3 variable

Any idea/ suggestions on which is better will be appreciated.
