Anyone been through Facebook interview (non technical) and have any tips to share?

I gave an interview in TCS on 2nd August, yesterday my status in the tcs ibegin portal changed to ‘Evaluated’. I called the hr but she is saying that it still needs to go through approvals. Any idea how long it takes for TCS to release the offer after the evaluation? Are there any chances of rejection post evaluation?

Do you say you're a "consultant" in your resume? A lot of firms (Deloitte, Protiviti, etc) officially call RA jobs as such, but it feels incredibly lame/misleading to call myself that during a job search when I know we're really just a different kind of auditor...

Recent lateral junior associate in brand new practice where I'm the only associate. I'm probably going to bill 1,500 hours max this year due to being very slow and taking time off for a delayed honeymoon which I disclosed during my interview process. I have been told my work product is good, I don't turn anything down, I participate in non-billable work, I'm responsive and I always let people know I'm available to help. Do I need to be worried about getting fired for low hours?

Hello! I just passed the patent bar a couple of months ago so I'm applying to my first patent agent roles. However, I only have a masters in law, not a JD, so I have no summer associate experience, and every position wants experience first. How did some of you other patent agents get your first positions if you've never worked in a law firm before? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thank you so much!

I have my 3rd out of 4 interviews today for an internal transfer. This position wouldn’t be a promotion but rather a lateral move. 4 interviews? That’s more than an outside hire, the whole reason I’m being considered is my unique value I’ll be bringing to that department.

P.s my final interview is with my current manager who is NOT in charge of the new department… he also told me he didn’t think I was ready for the change when I initially told him I was making a move. Let’s see how it goes!

I worked PRN for a (DHHS) agency contractor for 3 months. The

contract ended/reduced in June 2022 but we weren't technically let go. We just didn't get hours. In April 2022, I started my current full time job as a contractor at another DHHS agency. The PRN company won't answer my emails and calls requesting to be released so I can get a PIV badge at my new agency. To whom can I report them?

At what point does “ego” stop mattering? Over the past 5 years I’ve worked my way to being an Account Manager, but ultimately my career goal is to work for the government. There’s an opportunity to be an admin assistant working for the government, and would be a nice way for me to get in and move up. I am working for a company that is out of my residential state (A) and my company is withholding taxes based on tht state (B) where my company is. I was checking with my tax consultant and he thought I would have to pay taxes based on my residential state (A) next year (which btw is a massive sum).
