Anyone dreading the week and feeling existential dread 😭 I’m thankful for this job, but man do I wish I could just have money and focus on enjoying life and my relationships. Sigh, just venting, but it’s tough sometimes.

Wouldn’t everyone like to be independently wealthy and focus only on the things and people who they enjoy?

Just be thankful you have a high paying job ITE.

I was thinking the same thing. Wish we could spend more time with friends and family than working

I get it dude/dudette. But it’s a choice we’re all making every day, not something that has been forced upon us. Try to find enjoyment in the job, and change teams if people are toxic. The sustainability of our hours depends in large part on coworkers.

I feel this today.

Given that your venting is basically about the human condition, perhaps reframe to think about how much better we have it than randos who lived 10,000 years ago.

Yes, but only because I've been job hunting for 9 weeks with no hope in sight 😭 I miss the Monday morning dread.

Really, really focus on being disciplined with your time. It was a huge life change for me.
