For those of us up struggling.. we got this!

Hello Fishes,
I need a suggestion.
Does Manual Testing profile getting salaries above 17LPA.
With 6.8 YOE I have resigned recently on 13.68lpa and 1.25JB offer.
But not getting any calls and if I get any no response from them.
Is there any manual tester with 7-8 yoe switched recently please help me with this?

My company is doing this for new hires it’s so annoying. The managers that have been there come in like once every two weeks but new hires are expected to be there 3 days a week. It’s so frustrating because they are turning away highly qualified candidates that just live a little too far away to commute that often. The jobs can be done fully remote.
Oh don’t I know it. Either get everyone back in office or continue being remote.
Yes. My old company promoted a role as hybrid but wanted all training to done in person with the eventual transition to hybrid once an employee showed competence. It was so frustrating. Every potential good hire we interviewed turned it down when they learned they were expected to be in the office 5 days a week until upper management decided otherwise. I was the office manager but played no role in the decision. I basically had to put my foot down and tell my boss it was a waste of our time because all the applicants expected it to be truly hybrid/remote.
I think it really depends on the job, AND the employee. We require 90-days on site for a training period, but we’re considering building in more flexibility if/when the new hire has shown their efficiency, effectiveness, and capacity for being a self starter - IF working from home is appropriate for the position.
I must have been really lucky with hiring in the past, or admittedly not experienced enough in it, because it’s never taken me 90 days to size a new hire up in this way. So I am genuinely curious in this perspective and wondering what I’m missing. My instinct is to trust employees until proven wrong; is that naive?
