Anyone else disappointed in BCG Chicago holiday party tonight?

Are ya’ll getting holiday gifts for your judge & JA and if so, what are you getting for them? The culture of my court is definitely a gift-giving one, and I really like my JA and my judge so I want to get both of them something small (like a plant, but not a plant lol).

I have chronic health issues and I’m severely depressed. I can’t even get myself to work anymore. If I don’t quit, I’m in serious danger of being fired. I feel that I need to just quit and take time off to get better but feel that it will be a stain on my career. I’m a pretty junior lawyer. Any advice. I just can’t do any work at all and I’m my anxiety and depression is spiraling out of control. I see a therapist I try to cope and it’s not working.

If I'm forced to use my vacation, floater, etc. towards my study leave for CFE but I have vacation booked for right after CFE, will PwC still let me take that vacation as a "leave of absence"?

A parent of one of my students told admin she thinks it's irresponsible that I won't be grading over Christmas break. I was supportive of Lori when this virus first started but her actions since have dwindled my support of her. I don’t expect her to make every decision correct nor do we have to agree with all of them. I believe she should be correct around 75 percent of the time but I believe she is in the 50 percent range. I know everything doesn’t fall on her shoulder but things haven’t been great as of late. Hopefully they figure out something soon.
