I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

Not really since I do have separate social circles between work and personal life. Even situations where former coworkers are now part of my after work social life. If this doesn't sound like it's for you, then you might want to reassess if it's even wfh that's draining you or your lack of social skills outside of work.
In the concept revolving work, you are free to reach out to the team or individually to just set aside some time to connect with cameras on if both parties are comfortable. From what I've seen, majority keep their cameras off but that doesn't stop anyone to have a genuine conversation as long as someone in the talk knows how to conversate really well.
If anything, it's more draining to me to talk with coworkers only about work regardless in-person or wfh. One thing I do is to set the first and/or last 2 hours of the work day open for the entire team to just take a breather and connect. Obviously, that decision comes from a leadership role in the team. In case you do not hold that position, recommend it to the person that does.
Same I feel like it really forces you to have a strong social network outside of work in order to make meaningful social connections which I need to work on. I get the convenience of WFH but I feel like for a young person right out of college can be depressing. But to be fair I hate commuting to NYC from LI
Yep. I started 1.5 years before the pandemic and i had way less of a life but really liked my job then. At this point, I really hate working lol need something more active and engaging and social. I’ve considered quitting, cutting costs, and doing nothing for a bit to figure out what’s next but hesitant to pull the trigger.
I’m 100% in-person and wouldn’t trade it for the world.
