How do I learn to accept my role in the company and "slow down" career wise. I am used to quick promos and my new company is hiring someone with equal product exp to a more senior role than me, likely due to his 3 more yrs of overall experience.

I am having my first child in the next few months and I think it would be good for me to learn some patience in my career growth and just enjoy my current role. I personally think going on leave will hurt my near term growth but should I even care? TIA

They are giving me 8 lpa as ctc and 50k joining bonus and a promised 2 lpa retention bonus after one year.

A job has come up with a coorporate animal health company. I have applied and received a job offer. The job itself doesn't have much to do with veterinary medicine, but they do require you to have experience in veterinary medicine. Which I have 17 years of high level specialty/emergency medicine background.

I have an interview for a LTC/Rehab Nurse Manager, Infection Preventionist position next week. My base salary is $40/hour as a charge nurse. With overtime I’ll be finishing the year about $15000 above my base pay. I have questions: first, I know I’ll be putting in at least the same number of hours I’m current working (50+/wk).
