I interviewed for tcs for SAP function Consultant and cleared technical as well as managerial round on same day. Next day I received mail from HR that I have been shortlisted and require to submit all the documents.
My CCTC is 21 LPA ( 19 fixed) and I put my expectations as 27 LPA (30 percent hike on Current CTC), YOE- 5.8 years till now and then need to serve 3 month NP ( till joining 6 years)
Which designation should I ask to TCS HR?

Yes. Been there done that.
Being a lateral PL is very difficult and most fail. Not because they’re not good but because structurally the deck is stacked against them.
You will be 5-10 years older than your peers and the same age as MDPs which may or may not feel comfortable.
Expect to come in one level down from what you are now.
If you make the move do it for the $ and the exit ops. Not the culture.
BCG1 gives pretty good advice.
Its pretty hard to jump in as a lateral PL and make it work, BCG honestly makes it quite hard to succeed.
To re-iterate don't do it for the culture (or rather perceived culture) BCG's culture can mean and be very different things to even people in the same office; depends a lot on your cases and who you work with.
Age won’t matter as such. If you are comfortable working the hours and your life situation can accommodate it, it won’t be an issue. Plenty of mid 30 PLs, plenty of PLs with kids etc etc.
