Would you say summaries are as effective for self help books like "the subtle art of giving a fk" and other similar books? I feel the books themselves ramble on too much on a side story only to tell a point that could be summed up in a couple sentences. Interesting study.. Advice to young lawyers. Read a book. I saw the thread about savings and many young lawyers (20s and 30s) don’t know how to open up a brokerage account or invest in their 401k. I know they don’t teach personal finance in school (though they should!), but my advice is that you should go to your local library and read a book about the subject. You have the skills necessary but you must invest in yourself. No one will look out for you.

We feel the world will move to a remote/ WFH mode. We want to buy a house and settle down before our kid arrives. Should we move to a cheaper city like Phoenix so we have a big house for cheap and 2 home offices. Am I missing anything?
