Anyone have info on Baker Tilly (or other PA firm) IB groups? How are the hours? May be wrong, but I imagine hours are significantly lower than typical IB with significantly lower pay. Is it legitimate IB or looked at as pretty pointless in terms of getting more deal experience?

I recently graduated from law school and have started my clerkship in the superior court of NJ. Once done with my clerkship, I’m hoping to work in employment law (defense). I’ve seen online that Jackson Lewis is hiring at their Berkeley Heights, NJ location. Can anyone give me any insight on what it’s like to work at JL? culture? First year associate salary? Typical work day? Jackson Lewis P.C.

Baker Tilly pays like 65k base and 10k bonus for experienced analyst in their “IB” group. big 4 pay better and hours are more like traditional LMM - MM IB shops.
