However, they can’t just copy McK with 2K to match because that would look bad so they’ll have to beat it again. Then McK and Bain will follow. What do you think about switching tech stacks vs becoming an expert in one stack? I am a backend Java engineer, and have solely used Java since I've started my software engineering career about 2 years ago. Maxed out Roth IRA contributions when I wasn't eligible for 2021 (got a salary bump mid year). Do I need to recharacterize? It's a very small account that's been open for only two years. That's the only IRA account I own. Do I need to open a traditional IRA and roll over 6k + realized gains into that account and keep the Roth IRA. So confused how this works and got conflicting information from Merrill.

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me.
