Anyone have the Sony WH-1000XM3 or WH-1000XM4s? What to hear some opinions since everyone says they are the best noise cancelling headphones

Try the EPOS Sennheiser adapt 660. They are perfect for dual connections to laptop and phone.. switches seamlessly..

The XM4’s are almost perfect. But the Bose 700s have better mics by FAR. I’m on calls all day long so that clinched it for me.

EYP1 The general consensus was that the XM3’s are a little more bass heavy. 700s are neutral and airy. No consensus out on XM4’s. However, they all have EQ adjustment in their respective apps so I think it doesn’t really matter. They all sound amazing.

Got my M4s last week (Asia). Very happy with the comfort and sound profile (powerful yet nuanced bass). Recommend to check all reviews you can find on YouTube.

I have bose 700 NC and no complains. I know it is better than XM3.

Preordered on Amazon :)

I have XM3s. They are indeed the best but i like my AirPods Pros more

I have the XM3s. Audio quality is better than the Bose QCs. I didn’t compare audio between the XM3s and the newer Bose 700s but I did try them on — noticeably more uncomfortable than the Sonys

I have the Sonys. They fall out of my ear all the time.

How can over-ear headphones fall out of your ear?

They are all best of class, so I'll say try for yourself if possible. I bought the MX3s and love them. Then tried the Bose 700s but prefer Sony's fit and sound profile more. MX 4 is apparently much better with the extra bells and whistles like multi device support but decide for yourself if it is worth an extra 100

I have the xm3s... they were recommended by my husband who is an audio technician (runs sound for concerts and events for a living). He has a pair (he actually got them first) and likes them best for their sound quality and capabilities. I have liked mine but only really used them for flights so far so I haven’t been using them much over the last several months.

just put an order for the M4s, I think Bose still does a better job for noise canceling but Sony has better sound quality?

I had bose qc35s and upgraded to the sony xm3, now I dont use anything but the xm3s for calls, netflix, flights(last year) and everything Highly recommend

All Sony headphones are solid. I can’t find mine right now but I believe it was one of those models. You may find a sale on Amazon.

Hello! I have an inital call with HR coming up for a non-technical program manager role and I’m anticipating the expected total comp question. I’m coming from a non-tech background so I’m not sure what would be reasonable. Not sure what L level this role would be (it’s titled just Program Manager). Role would be in the Bay Area (currently live in DC). I’ve got 10 YOE, mostly in the government (3 in consulting). Any insight would be helpful!

I’m in my mid-40s with a 7 year old and baby. Is it too late for me to back into public accounting? I was laid off last year and found a great job in a large bank. I miss the flexibility, challenge and rigor of PA. I would love your opinions. Has the ship sailed for me in PA? If I go back I would be an experienced senior; maybe, a year or so from manager.
