Yeah ideo is sick. They do innovation consulting, and is THE brand in the space. Doesn’t have the most competitive pay, but is probably the most well respected brand for business design / HCD / innovation
Yes take an offer from IDEO. They’re the best and most well known for design thinking
Mentor
Yea IDEO is pretty famous for design thinking and innovation. They worked with all the big names in that space.

Aww yeah. Let’s party like it’s 1999
Ya, know them well. Founder DK was my advisor in grad school. It's not about the money at IDEO, it's about the cutting edge projects you'll be working on not to mention the prestige. They see each other as family and will invest in you for the long term. That said, they expect exceptional results from their team. DK offered a me spot there, but I turned it down to go back to a husband in NY. Wrong move on my part.

They designed the mouse for Apple before there ever was a mouse I think
Comp will be low, FYI. Amazing company, but people don’t work there for the $$$.
Did you take the job? I'm personally struggling hard at my firm and would give anything to jump ship for IDEO.
No comp wasn’t ideal, but it’s a huge brand in the digital ideation space! Very talented people running things.
Seems like the folks in this thread are pretty familiar with IDEO, so I also wanted to throw out a question.
If you want to chase comp, but are still excited by the opportunity, could you stick around for a bit and jump ship somewhere else with good comp? If so, what would those exit opps look like?
