I'm planning to join Thomson Reuters and my package is 15 lpa fixed + 1.5lpa is variable pay (yoe 5 , skillset - python(4years),SQL(5Years),Snowflake(2years), aws(2years)). The expected Shift timing is 2pm to 11 pm. After this offer, I stopped giving interviews but I'm getting lot of calls as I'm serving last month of my notice period. Im not that good at negotiating things.Need advise please. Am I well paid for my experience & skillsets? How much is the 2nd shift allowance in Thomson Reuters??

architect jobs will be always be in demand as technology stacks are growing each day .learning and working in this skill sets will pave for better career opportunities ,but yes it will be challenging though. comparing it to engineering manager , acc. to me it's people oriented job + little on technical side .
choice is yours ..if you want to remain on technical skillful side - choose architect job , otherwise EM will work wonders too
Tech architect is a better option for learning and growth. However, I feel it is a more demanding job when compared to an engineering manager.

Offcourse tech architect will earn more as compared to EM in long run.
And tech architect will hv more job security as compared to EM.
