Just had my back to back to back interviews with Deloitte USDC, I felt like my scenario based went extremely well and my behavioral just average. If anyone could provide some insight on how long it took for them to get back to you as well as who makes the hiring decision to ease my mind a bit that would be awesome!

Following im in CRE debt
I start in a couple weeks at EY and looking for some insight too
It’s mostly due diligence work
I’m curious as well. I’m in FP&A, came from Big 4 Audit, and I’m dying to work in Real Estate. Seems like all of the RE companies want RE experience regardless of all of the finance and accounting I have. RE Advisory in public might be the best way to get in the industry
I currently work at CBRE in brokerage. Majority of our clients our AM, investment management, development…AVP 1 is spot on. Only way to transition to senior level position is through graduate program or take a lower level position and work your way up. They really want you to “learn the ropes” first. FP&A isn’t exactly applicable to the RE roles.
Have you picked up CRE modeling classes?
I took a good RE financial modeling class in college. I know that sounds like nothing but it was taught by the CFO of a mid size multi fam re investment company and it was very “real world” he would actually use models stripped of the proprietary data for our class
I was very competent with the material. I feel comfortable with RE P&Ls and terminology.
