Applied for a B4 senior forensic role, but was not even granted an interview after my initial phone screen with HR; I’m confused why because i thought they needed bodies. My background includes 4 years of forensic experience on multiple investigations and program oversights, 5 years in other professional, non-forensic roles, and i have both a CFE and a CPA under my belt. The phone screen was basically HR asking if i have used google suite and tableau

Will Big 4 firms match offers from industry/ other firms?

Does having a career mostly in the small business sector hinder my chance of getting into M7? I have good leadership/managing experience and promotions in the past 5yrs. However, scanning MBA candidate profiles, I’m seeing a lot of MBB, Big 4 and big corporations. For MBA candidates at M7, do you see classmates with careers in small biz?

Big 4 M&A Tax Senior salary expectations? If S2 in core tax would you go back to S1?

Can anyone share their salary % increase (and $ amount if comfortable) for promotion from senior to associate manager? I find the lack of pay transparency at TSG a little frustrating compared to B4. TIA!

Currently at a boutique cybersecurity firm where the strategy has shifted to MSSP focus. Most projects have been strategy engagements leading to transformations. Industry vs Big 4 vs MBB?

McKinsey internal offer. Am level before partner at small boutique firm. Work in tiny but hot area (non-strategy). No desire to make partner as I don’t enjoy selling. Fewer YOE than most at my level. Exp mostly at small companies except for a B4/ACN. No MBA, masters from an Ivy but a less competitive program. Offer is similar to other industry offers in the past but haven’t looked recently. Current TC is on the high end in consulting but have had similar offers.

First off - I am extremely new to this type of professional networking and it seems to me that more than 85% of the posts are about compensation, career etc…. So, give me a shout out if your are 27 years old have a NW of 40K or less and approx 175k TC or less. Just trying to see if I can find folks sailing in the same boat to explore more career options. We have a vision insurance and we will be canceling this one to move to my husband's one under his new firm. Can I use the benefits in my first plan and avail the benefit again in new plan? For eg ordering a new frame?

I need to go to India in August and my current H1B visa is ending on September 07th. If I fly back in the last week of August, would it be a problem during immigration? I do have my extension approved but there are no slots available in India to get my visa stamped.
