Thoughts on best possible title for this role? Niche 8th year about to accept an in-house role at one of my favorite clients. I’m really happy with the offer, but they suggested that I can sort of pick my title as no. 2 to the GC. They’ve been using Deputy GC, so I’m leaning toward that, but wanted to make sure there wasn’t a better title I could suggest.

How would it look to switch firms with less than 1 YOE out of undergrad? I am not loving my current role and it seems other firms are hiring now. I am worried if I wait I will miss out on what appears to be a strong market.

Feel as if I’m constantly behind peers in terms of career progression (e.g. MBB/ FAANG) despite having a decent-ish background (tier 2 consulting and now at top tier finance company in strategy role). I find that the companies I’ve worked at have very set progression based on tenure, with no room for negotiation. I’m really ambitious/ hardworking and I am not sure where to go that would match my goals of career progression. Is it just MBB/ FAANG or is there anywhere else? Any ideas?

1. Received an offer of 70k as an associate producer. Agency is based in LA, but I would be remote. Is this a fair salary for the current market?
2. I have been a an associate/junior producer for 2.5 years, should I be looking at mid level roles as my next step? Or is the lateral a smart plan? It would be different type of clients than I am used too.
