Go for it as long as the partner and team are solid, and work is aligned to your goals
Depends on levels at both forms too
I came from KPMG - got a 75% bump at D, promoted after a year, better clients, better types of projects. Havent really made friends except for a couple but I chalk that up to being an experienced hire. Bottom line is you’ll always get more switching - I’d try switching to a T2 or Accenture though.
Commercial S&A - I came from tech consulting (which KPMG calls “management consulting”) and will obviously acknowledge it’s not an apples to apples comparison.

Go where the money is. If you ultimately find out that KPMG doesn’t meet your cultural needs, then start job searching again. You could always boomerang back to D with the hope you can get a higher pay.
