Who here has OCD, I mean the real deal, not the minor annoyances.
How do you cope, how do you find the strength.
How to manage if it manifests in your children.

It’s truly painful and heartbreaking on a daily basis.

I do. I just roll with it most of the time. And when I can't, I end up binge eating to be honest.

What do you mean by manifesting in your kids?

I think therapy's really the only way to go tbh

I'm sorry to hear you're going through this.
Regarding kids:
I had moderate case of OCD as a kid and it improved a lot in the years I went through puberty. CBT/ therapy helped as well.

Talk to your doctor about medication

Well I recently told a guy I have been seeing I have HSV-2. We have not yet been physical but it’s been heading that direction. Man I hate this part - waiting to see what his response will be after he researches and talks to his doctor. I’m on daily meds which help reduce transmission risk. You’d think that since HSV-2 affects 20% of Americans and likely a higher % of gay men, there would be less taboo but it’s hardly ever talked about. Anyone else in my shoes? Or had it disclosed to them?

Have you seen women wear ties and "masculine"-looking suits to work? Was it accepted by client and team? I've never worn a tie to work, but when I've worn clothing that had a more "masculine" fit either in grad school or some work environments, I've gotten comments and looks, or sometimes asked (or people gossiped) about my orientation. When I wear more "feminine"-looking clothing, I feel more more uncomfortable and awkward. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I am interested in is knowing, a) if companies track KPIs and how do they do it b) (to be continued in comment)
