Anyone moved to Austin from a liberal state like California or East coast ? I have an offer for Engg PM from Apple. I love remote work at my current job but Apple has this strict hybrid requirement. I don’t know anyone in Texas and being an immigrant, the Republican atmosphere in Texas is scary. Cannot decide if I should take the offer or keep looking for a better opportunity. They’re offering TC ~$200k and my current job In Maryland is paying $145k.
