So after two weeks of waiting (and giving up on the idea of getting the job really), the recruiter got back to me.

They said due to month-end and quarter-end close they were busy and couldn’t get back to me as quickly for a “good update”.

The recruiter said the CFO enjoyed our call, she, the CFO, will call me next week directly to “discuss some final things”.

I’m currently being recruited pretty seriously for a in-vivo technician position in the auto-immune team, but I already have a job lined up at Envigo as a small animal sx tech. Salaries would be comparable (Lilly would most likely be a little more with bonuses), but if the culture sucks, I’d hate to burn a bridge with Envigo.

I was just informed after the third round of interviews they’d like at least 5 references, two must be supervisors. My last job was a temporary remote job where I didn’t really interact with my supervisor and the jobs before that were at my family’s business (I do not speak to any of them for serious personal reasons.) I had learnt NodeJs and ReactJs from udemy account and got decent understanding of the flow and all. Is it good to go for client project on these technologies as I had only learnt not any hands-on experience? How much It can cause me to suffer on day to day basis and how difficult it would be to adapt the things? And one more thing I want to understand where exactly things gets change which we get to know while working at client project not while learning.

90 Days notice period is big roadblock. Dont know why dont Indian IT ministry take look into it. Companies implemented this policy in 2008 recession and then never took it back. In abroad countries employee can even give company 8-15 days NP. But as we all know we live in typical third world country with zero employeement Laws so here only mla minsters can switch partys without NP.

I have an offer with TCS. 2 weeks more for joining date. BGV is done and they are asking me to confirm by today EOD.
If I deny , will I be blacklisted forever ? I don't want to join TCS for now as I have a better offer .
