What should I do just over a week ago I was cutting a foam panel and I cut myself by accident it was bleeding a lot in the moment I grabbed a napkin to hold on my hand and then my coworker went to report to the manager. I went to the bathroom to rinse it off but then when I went into the break room I passed out in front of two of my coworkers and my manager. When I woke up on the floor, my coworker told me I was out for 3 mins. The manager was belittling the situation and threatening my position

Do you think earning potential decreases by quite a bit if you exit to industry as a senior?

I have 1.5 YOE in MC and was recently contacted about an opportunity for a data analyst role in private equity. I’m pretty clueless about the space, but comp is an 85% pay raise and the work generally sounds interesting. Has anyone exited to a similar role? What’s career growth like? My goal is to go to in house for media / entertainment industry, hopefully become an executive. TIA :)

I’m up for a promotion at work and I have no idea how much to ask for since it’s not a standard position. Currently I’m a team lead and manage about 8 technicians, my promotion will be to a regional service delivery manager, and I will be managing over 30 in 3 locations. I went from a tier 1 engineer in managed servers to team lead with about a 10k increase in salary.I’m thinking about a 15k increase this time from 65k to 80k. If you interview for a job but are not offered the position, is it weird to try to connect with some of your interviewers on LinkedIn? I genuinely liked some of my interviewers, but apparently the company identified a candidate whom it believes is a better fit.
