Please help. I’ve moved up the ranks pretty quickly at the company I work for to become a Principal SE. My manager thinks the best next step for me is to move into management and leadership and has started pushing me to apply for an engineering manager role. They say that I will be a good fit because of my strong technical background paired with the leadership and people skills I display currently.

I’m torn because I do love being an IC but I’m interested in leadership also. What do I do?

Thoughts on Wealth Management as an industry? Offered a role to work under a senior FA and eventually take over the book (~$800M AUM and growing). It sounds great, but I am worried about the disruption this industry is facing with Robo advisors and other low cost, DIY options. Hi fishes, I recently joined Accenture, I am from manual testing background and they put me into monitoring team where we need to analyse errors looking at codes, logs and resolve it and the KT that is being given to me doesnt feel enough when I raised concern to TL, TL itself is blaming it on me that I qm not able to understand what is being taught, I am not able to work in the project at all, I requested for roll off within a month, will this imact my career at accenture? someone please sugges

I’m a fifth year associate who is ready to get out of litigation (and private practice altogether). I’ve only ever done professional malpractice (legal, med mal, etc) and feel like those skills will not transfer as well if I had done transactional work. Ideally I would like to transition to something in-house. Any suggestions as to what jobs/industries I could transfer into with only litigation experience?
