Here is the scenario: Have 2 offers from IT MNCs and 1 from Citi. Citi's offer is the highest. Almost 5 lakhs diff in the fixed component. Although money is important, but I am also seeking a little balance with life. I was previously in ZS Associates and to be frank, life was hell. I am not looking to relive that phase again.

Hey guys, Since I am working in Deloitte and right now, I am working from home. I want to go Nepal for 2 months and I want to work from there. Do I need to tell my manager or simply I can go there and start my work. Is there any obligation?
Note- I don't want to tell anyone. Since it may backfire sometimes
I am Offered 29.5fixed by PwC for SA (L2). Currently on 25fixed. Should I join ? In terms of WLB.! My current employer on fishbowl shows Deloitte but have left Deloitte a year back. Currently in a firm with good WLB but PWFH is a big win for me that PwC is offering.
Any guidance or fist hand experience sharing is highly appreciated.

Your cop friend has way better benefits and gets paid overtime which could easily double their salary.
Your teacher friend doesn’t work for 4 months out for the year.
Your engineering friend probably works 9-5.
Your biology and chem friends are still in school.
Factor in all your unpaid overtime you’re going to be working and on an hourly basis you are the lowest paid..

I have to agree with you:
I'm not going to get killed while sitting at a desk auditing.
I don't have to deal with 15-25 kids all day.
Accounting was easier.
Science majors who don't go on to grad school are stuck in low paying research assistant type positions that pay 30-35K(I have a biology degree and experienced the jobs options). Those with advanced degrees often spend years working as post docs in another researcher's lab working PA hours but getting paid half as much.
