I spend most weekends/vacation days trying to figure out my life and find a job I’ll like better. Then after awhile I convince myself that I have a good job and I’m a fool. All is well until about 3 hours into my first day back when the bs starts in again and all hell breaks loose. 🥴 Is this common? At what point do you know it’s time to leave?

I currently work in Private (GA) Aviation & have for some time (about 12 years) I’m currently making the switch to the Department of Aviation and am unsure if I should ditch my current job (in private) and go full force with the DOA & embrace this new opportunity educationally and gather as much experience as I can or keep both jobs even though I’d be working 80hr weeks.. Have you ever taken a career slow down? I am feeling burnt out from COVID and the incremental responsibilities thrown my way over the last 5+ years. I feel like my health has deteriorated. Enviro/ natural resource lawyers— what’s your dream job?

Went from a big firm to work for a smaller firm. The people in the smaller firm are protective of their work and are good by their work too. I no longer feel chaos or stress. I am treated with respect and my schedule is more normal. I am even working more billable hours than before, but it feels like a seamless experience. I don’t work then past 5pm or anything out of the ordinary for this time of the year. I am so grateful!

My recruiter informed me on August 29th that due to a couple of realignments within the org, the hiring manager has not shared any feedback. I was informed on September 8th that the hiring committee is scheduled the next day (September 9th) and that I can expect a final feedback latest by September 12th.
