I am already serving notice period and last 20 days remaining. HR communicated to me that its compulsory to join at Mumbai location & if not joined then they will take action as it will be constructed as willful insubordination.Also need to look for accommodation.

I’ve hit a plateau on the keto diet (no weight loss in 3 months). So in addition to walking 5 miles a day (been doing this since month 2), on Sunday I started a Beachbody HIIT workout with weights (21 day fix real time). It’s 30 min workout daily and I’m two workouts in and I can barely move. Also, the muscle cramps are for real! I did it! I got an in-house Paralegal position after years of working and being burned out at different law firms. I was going to leave the legal field all together because I was so burned out and depressed, but I decided to give the field one more chance if I was able to go in-house. Prayerfully, this transition will be a good one.

My boss (atty) is so disorganized! I’ve been with him 6 months and he’s having a hard time delegating, sharing info and managing deadlines. I’ve organized the caseload to manage the deadlines. He says he wants me to help with discovery but when I offer to start on one, he says he needs to do it. (Since he might have to present as evidence) When I give him deadlines and ask for the docs he says he’ll get to it. It’s a small 1 man firm, and I’m the first assistant besides his wife. Any advice?
