I got a call from HR and offer discussion was over couple of weeks back and still waiting for them to send me final mail to release offer. May I know if they take this much time to release offer, when I did a follow up call after 10 days they said they are waiting for some approval to release offer.
Any ideas i still have chances to get offer? BNY Mellon

Im sorry for most of these experiences 😩 … but to answer the question, yes, I got a bonus this year (20k) no raise but OK with it since I got a good raise last year
Wow, mind to share which firm is that?
I received 15% in bonuses in 2025. A raise should come in the next several days. I feel lucky to be at this point after so many horrendous past experiences in this field. I'm not dressing it up as glitzy and glamorous. It's truly a grind,
I work for a bigger family law firm and I've never received a bonus from them- but the attorneys get them all the time!
We didn't get bonuses or raises this year. We normally don't get more than like a 3% raise anyhow, but it is better than nothing. They let us know in November there wouldn't be raises or bonuses this year. It kind of killed the morale to be honest with you.
My big law firm might give bonus in April but it’s always teeny tiny. Our raise is normally less than 3% as well.
Ours are smaller and also in spring. Pretty much varies between 2.5 and 3%.
We're getting the usual raise. Should be 2.5% again, comes through after reviews. It's not much, but it's something.
My small law firm gave a bonus, will be doing end of year raise, and got some concert tickets. I think it just depends on how the firm is doing financially (biggest factor) and staff performance (my opinion).
I got a $5,500.00 bonus, and a gift card to Eddie V's Prime Seafood. My birthday is December 27, so I got a birthday card from the head attorney with a $100 bill and a $20 bill. I had just started here in August.
At my old firm my Christmas bonus was usually $20K before taxes. My summer bonus would be $10k-$20k. I usually got $5K-$7K in raises each year. I only left because my attorney had personal issues that caused the work environment to be unbearable for everyone but one employee.
I work plaintiff side personal injury in Texas.
I received a 4% raise this year
Bonuses are usually passed out a few days before Christmas in plaintiff firms. Raises are a whole another world. Most of the paralegals prefer case bonus which are usually quite substantial. The percentage of the bonus is also another conversation because in our state (Louisiana) no bonus can reflect a fee incentive. The bonus must reflect your performance during the case and at mediation or trial.
Mine gave bonuses before Christmas. I’m hearing that raises will kick in later this month. Not sure how much it is though.
