Any books/self help materials for someone who is constantly worrying (and waste a lot of unnecessary time)? E.g. No matter if i pass or fail an interview, there is always something to worry about. The worrying/anxiety multiplies when I proceeded further in the interview stages. Now that I signed the offer and is pending background checks, my anxiety is off the roof as it itches closer to my starting date.

Gay man who works in a large org that is big on diversity and inclusion efforts. I’d say about 50-60% of people (at all levels, across all age groups and races) list their gender pronouns in email signature. I list mine because I see it as a way to show support for colleagues who may not be cisgender. If anyone else works in the same type of environment, do you infer anything about colleagues who choose not to list their gender pronouns? (such as they are homo/trans phobic?)

I'm interested interviewing for a position that was advertised as DOE. I understand this means depending on experience, but is there a range I should ask for? If they ask my desired salary, do I tell them? I haven't interviewed for a position like this before.

I’m in a little of a pickle but a good one. Offer A. Established “start up” doing well financially and projected to hit profitability. 130k base. Stocks offered, unlimited PTO, and 70% Medical covered. Offer B. Is at a business much larger…90k salary with 10% bonus and generous stock offering. Titles are different which is why the pay is much different. I asked for a raise in April 2022 after three years with my company. Positive feedback since day one. Learned I was making less than peers at other asset managers in NYC with less experience (14 years). Latest conversation was with HR about how they calculate salaries.
