My mother is going to get retired from her government job next week and will recieve her one time payout of close to 90 lakhs by the end of the month
The amount is non taxable but any profit earned from the amount will be taxable. Where should the amount be invested?(next 8-10 year horizon)
1. Buying a 3 bhk flat for around 95 lakhs in Sec 31 Gurgaon.
2. Put all the money in FD and live off of interest.
3. She is not very ecstatic about investing in stocks.
4. Gold?

Senior citizens deposit scheme, hybrid mutual fund, sgbs are some better option contact @9302340643for better

I assume that she’ll be getting regular pension, still any monthly payout will not or should not be a problem. Try SCSS AND PMVVY each cost max to 15 Lakhs.
There are other options too join asan idea of finance grp on fb it’s a large community they’ll help you better

In addition to what EY 1 suggested, I would advise you to also consider an annuity plan. I did the same with one part of my dads retirement fund. The annuity plan I went for doesn't exist anymore, but they have started a similar plan. Look for LIC Annuity plan. And please buy it online not through agent. When you buy online, you get a additional 2% for that (which otherwise would go to the agents pocket).

Tomorrow they are requiring masks again and I was almost in tears when I found out. We have been mask free (recommended) since June and I feel like we are being muzzled again. I am vaccinated, frustrated, and have been off of antidepressants since March. I don’t even want to go into work tomorrow. Anything is better than being virtual and I am trying to look at the bright side, but moving backward still burns. We have parent-teacher conferences coming up and I am hoping that it’s temporary.

Hi all, I recently purchased a commercial property at WTC, Noida. As I look to grow my portfolio, I spoke to my consultant to see if I could get better prices. He worked with the sales folks at WTC and said that if multiple buyers come in, he could work out a deal. Wanted to check if anyone is interested? I could potentially get him to set up one-on-ones to help explain the commercial real estate market. Even if this property doesn’t seem interesting, I think an interaction wouldn’t hurt.. contd

How much stock do you put on benefits? I have two offers with stark differences in benefits. Job 1: role I want, but benefit sucks (2 weeks paternity leave, 20% coinsurance). Job 2: role is okay but higher level and great benefits (16 weeks paternity, 0% coinsurance, 5 more days of vacation). Total comp is the same though. I wonder if I should just focus on role but Job 2 is a large company, so I can move around after 2-3 years I’d expect. Thoughts?

I’m looking for assistance on building your own portfolio in my traditional 401K. I’ve been reading that it’s important to choose funds with low expense ratios. Also, that it is recommended to have at least one US stock, international stock , and bond. I am 24yo so ideally, I’d want to allocate 90%-100% to stocks and 0%-10% to the bond. I just left my pre-seed startup that was running out of cash (we made $100,000 in revenue this year, and sunk $1m in costs). I was making $40,000 as a developer (plus 20k stock options at $1/share per year) and they refused to pay me any more money. I have 17,000 vested stock options, total number of shares at the time of my contract was 4million. I’m a bit confused about share dilution and if it’s worth it for me to buy some of my stock options… thanks in adv!

I'm 22 and planning to take a life insurance. I'm comparing all policies and max life seems attractive as it has good claim settlement ratio and less premiums. But there is no office near our area. My worry is that if there is a need to claim in future, it can be done all online by my nominee? Is it recommended to take policy online in any platform(like policybazaar)?
Other options I'm considering are SBI life, HDFC life which offices are available in my locality.

Hi All. What is the best way to allocate 25 Lakh INR in savings into different investments to maximize returns. I recently moved out of India so Tax rebate is not a consideration for me. I already have 6 lakh plus invested in PF and MFs but I want to invest more as my money is getting depreciated in the savings bank account.

I also have an education loan with balance of 7 lakhs which I am planning to repay in lumpsum as there is no tax exemption now.
