Are there any good resources to get up to speed on capital markets? I’ve been out of the market for a while and rejoining a law firm as a CapM associate. Things will probably work out when I start, but I’d like to be prepared, as I feel like I’ve lost all my knowledge.

I realized recently that I can turn my “super associate” persona at any time. I had it off during covid when my kids needed me and got a bad review. So now it’s back on. Have two offers (Firm A and Firm B). Made up my mind to accept Firm B’s offer. Got conflicts check forms for both firms. Should I fill out both conflicts forms?

I know that some other associates at my level are approximately 30% behind other associates in hours on a month to month basis. Yet all of these associates say they are “at capacity”, and myself and another associate still end up being assigned work instead of them. How do we handle this? For reference, all associates are around the firms minimum requirement, it’s just that a few of us are 30+% over and it is leading to burnout.
