Are there any other positions that MBAs can recruit for besides the associate/post-mba role? Starting b-school and coming from tech w/3 yoe..not sure if some of the other groups like the digital practices or incubators (e.g BCG DV) have post-MBA roles that would be better suited to my background 🙂 . (could find any on the websites)

Clawback clause in current contract: been in role for over 2 yrs, it was an internal move that required relocation. Relocation was approved shortly after (over 2 yrs ago) but covid meant the actual move and start of my contract with new subsidiary was delayed, I was paid by the previous subsidiary meanwhile. I got small relocation package. Would internal move be subject to a buy-out/clawback clause if I leave now and if yes, is it time in role or time under new contract? Any experience? Thanks!

I'm the hiring mgr for designers in my org. I recently discovered pay band information given to me by the HR generalist I'm working with on hiring was outdated and updated bands had been released over the summer (prior to my hire date). The outdated information had led me to believe a prime candidate was out of range. Aside from incompetence, can anyone think of a reason why HR might have withheld information about the pay bands? Just took this BCG Quant Reasoning test and I think I messed it up. Some of the units are so confusing. Is nearest 000s of pounds 23000 or 23? They don’t partial mark it and the whole test was filled with this sort of thing. Oh well

I've a question on what sections to put on a regular resume. I see some people are using consulting style resume for outside companies as well. Do you think it's a good idea to devide work experience by projets? Or is it better to have "projects highlights" separate from work experience.. something like: intro>functional expertise> project highlights>work experience>education?

Read that McK is paying 2K higher than BCG this year which means BCG will probably raise again next year to at least match. However, they can’t just copy McK with 2K to match because that would look bad so they’ll have to beat it again. Then McK and Bain will follow. Barring a devastating recession, I’m guessing this means MBB is all getting raises again next year?

Any idea if these comp increases will make it to Canada?

Would I be too senior to come in as a lateral hire? I guess it’s all about client networks at this level, and being government, it’s locationally dependent - so which markets have need?
