Best GMAT prep books/ material ?

I was recently at a firm who had a few PhDs working there. They each had PhD on their business cards. It felt a bit tacky, but it could be just signaling to their clients. Thoughts?

I need valuable suggestions from you all! I want to migrate to Canada and settle the after getting a PR. I am an associate looking for masters degree in analytics or management field. Budget is limited but can extend it till 35L INR. Tam only considering courses with duration of atleast 16 months so that I get PGWP (Work Permit) of 3 years which would improve my chances of PR.

I have been looking at the curriculums for Harvard Business School's Master of Business Administration and Harvard Extension School's Master's in Management. They both have the same requirements, generally speaking, including a field immersion course that serves as a capstone in the Master's in Management, which is fairly new. If I am not able to gain admission to Harvard Business School, but wanted a similar educational experience to become a consultant, should I attend Harvard Extension?

Are UC schools like ucla and berkeley well respected in the east coast? For example, if I was to pursue a masters at one of these UCs, would it be well recognized and help in terms of a career perspective?

I am an Engg. (2004-2008) then went for MBA from UPES, Dehradun in Oil and Gas (2012-2014 : Regrettable decision). No connection though with O&G industry. Approx 10 years of work exp. Can M7 schools change? Ex, can Columbia or Kellogg be replaced by, say, Yale or Darden?

I’m seriously contemplating taking a software development boot camp. For those who hire new software developers, does it make you stand out if you get your certificate from a university instead of a coding academy (like coding dojo or something)? I noticed the universities are a bit more expensive but is it worth the price to have a university on your resume or does it not really matter?

How many married professionals with young families are just sticking it out “for the kids”? Marriage is very dead and has been for a while. Young kids 4 and 1. My wife and I don’t fight, but share 0 interests outside of the kids and can’t stand to be around each other. For folks who’ve done R1/R2 interviews at BCG… how useful did you find the CaseCoach courses? I’m a week out before my R1 and I’m wondering if it’s going to be time we’ll-spent. Would love to hear “ignore this, definitely do that” sorts of advice if possible. (For background: I’m familiar with Victor Cheng, I’m using RocketBlocks, practicing live cases, consumed a bunch of YouTube videos, etc.)

I understand that in most cases folks with <2 YOE will join with the same title as UG campus hires. How many YOE (or months of experience) will qualify you for a higher pay band (compared to campus hires)?
