Are there any video conference tools which provide option for recording in the free version?
E.g., zoom has the recording option but meetings can only be 40 minutes

Zoom (huge chunk, currently at loss)- sell or hold?

I need advice about Zoom. Is it easier to have a zoom link with your personal Id or a simple generated one? I want to connect my Zoom link in my clever portal, but for some reason the generated one doesn’t work, but I’m afraid if I switch anything it will mess up the flow. Any experts do we have advice?

Zoom meetings have been fantastic. I can highly recommend my home group SOS. 7:30 daily. Great way to get grounded as you start your day.

I’m interviewing for BCG and had a principal reach out to me for a zoom chat. Is this normal for principals to reach out or is this a positive sign?

I tutor ESL after school and recently switched over to Zoom. Students are stating that they are unable to annotate. I’ve read that this is common for Chromebook users. Does anyone know of a way to bypass this and/or any video/picture tutorials? Otherwise, it looks like we’ll just have to add an additional open tab with a google share doc. Do MBA student clubs use Teams or Slack? Do they use just the free tier?

I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. Should I have waited until one of the last slots so I was fresher on their mind when choosing a candidate? I am just sitting here stressing out until I here something. Also, do interviewers still appreciate a hand written thank you for the interview?

What’s the dress code for zoom interviews? So far, I’ve definitely been dressed more formally than my interviewers but could be because they were tech companies

Researching the job mkt & pay for nursing: It is so easy to set up a first interview esp. as a nurse. Set up a zoom meeting, in the zoom meeting ask abt job details and ask for the salary range. They will give it to you, and in my case it was the same range for both of the companies. (Hospice oncall nurse here👋). Then you fit in somewhere on that continuum based on education & experience—that where the negotiation comes in—they will make a case to place you as low as possible on the scale.

Teaching Autistic Support via Zoom is so difficult. The behaviors are way worse and there is next to nothing I can do to help my students parents.
