Are y’all working on the weekends? I find myself sometimes having to. Not always because it’s needed but because if I spend even just an hour it can help sort my whole week.

Absolutely not
I will not do unpaid work on my very limited time off

I haven’t been these past few weeks, but I have before. It’s hard to find the balance between doing it to help myself and falling into a hole of constantly working. The work is never over. There’s always more somewhere.

I don’t work on weekends. I complete my 40 hours during the week and no more. I really value work-life balance, so not working on weekends is an important boundary for me.

I have been approached by 3 separate HR people at a startup company to interview for a position. I already have a fulltime job that pays well and I only started 6 months ago too. Anyways, the pay was intriguing and the job was a high level scientific advisor so I did interviews. At the last interview, at the end I was told the job was for management but I prepared for a different kind of interview. I am waiting for an offer or rejection letter. I feel peeved that they wasted my time. Red flags?
