I have been working in the construction industry for 2 years under a general contractor. I am wanting to get into consulting and my ideal role would be something like an Associate in Major Projects Advisory with KPMG. I’m curious to know which firms/companies have positions and departments like the one mentioned that I could apply for?

I haven’t worn heels in 20+ years. Love Cole Haan for nice classy flats.
Thanks for the suggestion!
I stopped wearing heels in the early 2000s, I found people took me more seriously without them.
You respect women who wear heels less? Given that heels are a part of many professional ensembles, this surprises me. You must not respect a lot of exec women.
Sneakers. In every color. And all the way up and down the line, women in my field (cybersecurity software sales) wear flats and sneakers. Only the younger marketing associates or new grad women wear heels tbh.
High end or trendy sneakers are a go to for me with certain outfits. So much more comfy than heels. Plus I have no ACL so I can’t wear heels beyond an inch anymore.
Also try Vivaia.com. Comfy and cute flats and low heels that aren’t gonna break the bank.
Rothy’s are also pretty comfy and are washable in the washing machine.
No ways - who wears heels post covid
Coach
Wear fancy flats and being the heels along for meetings
Hahah smart! I'll keep that in mind
I don’t. I wear nice leather loafers of various colors and shapes, with small heels.
And what brand do you find your loafers are mostly from?
Naturalizer is great for comfortable yet stylish flat/low heel shoes. Clarks is good too
I haven’t been able to wear heels for years. Cute suede Adidas or Pumas with dresses and skirts.
I don’t. I have some chunky heel and wedge style heel boots I wear occasionally but I primarily wear “dressy sneakers” , loafers, oxford, flats.
Cole Hahn
Vionic
Hush Puppy
My sneakers from:
Adidas samba
Veja
Cole Hahn
Are all brands I wear a lot of.
The Cole Haan with Nike air was the best collaboration in the history of heels. It’s over, but Cole Haan mastered comfy heels!
My go to’s are Rothy’s (the point or the flat in many different colors) and Tory Burch Minnie Travel Ballet Flat
Bionic , easy spirit all have block heels with nice support.
VIONIC
White sneakers
Nope. No heels. Just loafers and sneakers.
Yes for sneakers. So many good models/brands available. Comfort is in. Have been seeing a lot of women executives wearing them these days
I'm short so I do like the height that heels give me. But, I stopped wearing heels 10 years ago (I'm 40 now) and never looked back. I wear cute sneakers and flats, almost all with removable insoles and I use orthotic inserts. If my sneakers are color coordinated with my outfit, it's fashionable and practical. I had stress fractures and other foot issues that probably require surgical intervention so it was partly out of necessity but I love wearing no heels now. I don't miss them one bit.
Rothy’s all day
Haha fair, but to me nothing is worse than heels ;)
Kitten heels, block heels 2in or lower, and shoes with a wider footbed have been my saviors these last few years. And wearing stylish sneakers or ballet flats when traveling (and then changing out before walking into the client’s office).
Kitten heels for sure, Cole Han has some good ones. Sling backs (1-2 inches) can also up your style quotient.
I wear 👠 often. But tbh I’m so short 5’1 I need them for confidence. In the winter I did a lot of block heel booties from Tom’s. Super comfy. Now that it’s warm, I’m back to Cole haan ballet flats or nice slip ons for commuting and heels at destination.
Me as well! I sort of just NEED it. But the ballet flats are an interesting option! Will look into this
I do. I gave up stilettos, but I wear a chunky heel nearly every day. I like the M Gemi Lustro 90 mm
