I joined KGS in feb 2022, we recently got a mail regarding timeline of appraisal and bonus payout from the partner. My reporting manager hasn't yet reached out to me regarding goal setting, not sure if that happens here. Can you pls help me to know what all things we need to do from our end for the appraisal cycle and bonus payout? Since I'm new to this company KPMG KPMG India

I'm stoked for hard work and good decisions for people's careers! I've got a few friends who are starting to get access to trust funds.. now thats a different feeling. Lol.

Wow! While I would wish that could happen for me, always be happy for others. That kind of energy will come back around to you one day
Yes, let’s be happy with our friends because sometimes they are the ones we can run to when we have problems. And we will also be successful soon 😊
It’s actually a very honest feeling. Being happy for a friend and feeling a little jealous at the same time is pretty normal. A lot of people feel that way but don’t admit it. What matters is that you’re still supportive and recognize their success. Sometimes hearing about big wins can make us reflect on our own goals or where we want to be, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
Yeah for sure! All my friends are fairly successful and I love cheering them on. It’s also inspiring.
It's often helpful to ask yourself how it would be from the other side. If you suddenly had a windfall, would you want your friends to feel like they wish they didn't know about it, or be happy for you? Be the friend you'd want in return.
I am always cheering for my friends to succeed. Admittedly, that might be a bit more challenging for me from an ethical standpoint if they worked for a defence company.
We hate it when our friends become successful.
