Are you happy with where you are in your career? What do you think will be your next move? Ngl, these are questions I've been asking myself and not having the answer is a little terrifying. Are we all just figuring it out one day at a time or do we have people here who've got an idea of what their next few years will look like?

I'm definitely happy but also scared. Feels like I spent way too long developing a craft that is so quickly and easily being replaced by a bunch of bots. However, I'm sure I have a little more time to work out my future plans which mostly involves leanign towards marketing and maybe even upskilling in AI

I’m super happy with where I am. Planning to go the digital nomad route in 2026. Headlines on the train to Ho Chi Minh City.

Hello there! I have had a long career in and out of agencies. Some I worked at and some I owned. Currently a free agent. Love to connect.

Every day I wake up and think about exit strategies from this dying career.

It’s a weird time for sure. I like this field, but things feels precarious. I plan to take a course or two on AI, and I’m also exploring other roles within marketing in strategy and lifecycle.

I have been looking at the curriculums for Harvard Business School's Master of Business Administration and Harvard Extension School's Master's in Management. They both have the same requirements, generally speaking, including a field immersion course that serves as a capstone in the Master's in Management, which is fairly new. If I am not able to gain admission to Harvard Business School, but wanted a similar educational experience to become a consultant, should I attend Harvard Extension?

So, you’ve reached the stage of your career where you care more about cashing a fat paycheck than making “creative ads”. You’d rather have the resources and free time to fulfill your creative itch outside of work than try to sell the next big idea to an 28 year old marketing manager with an annual budget of 150k. I don't know if this is a recent change but I’m seeing postings for junior copywriter/community manager roles. Have these roles always been attached or posted at a junior level? Is this merged role worth considering as someone young in the industry with more traditional intern and freelance copy experience.
