We give 2 chances, depending on the infraction. If it's truly hate speech they are immediately taken off the platform. If it's something that's been reported but doesn't hit our qualifications for hate speech, we allow two instances before they are out.
Usually, I give 2-3 chances. But I am not that lenient if the mistake could cost me my job or others' job. How about you?
I'd say twice is more than enough. We cannot afford a bigger problem caused by them. The best way to handle it.
I tend to give many chances, as long as it isn't illegal. However, if they keep making big mistakes then they are out.
It depends on what it is. If it's something sexist, racist, or homophobic I ban/block that person immediately.
I usually do it the first time I see it because with having such a big online community it's hard to manage everyone. I have to keep a tight ship
I'm lucky enough that everyone is generally supportive . I haven't had to ban anyone yet. That are kind and fun to interact with
I have a 3 strike rule with a note that exceptions can be made and are up to the managers discretion.
If you’re communicating clearly with this person and they’re not getting it or are ignoring it, it’s your job to keep the community a safe place and remove them.
We also follow this rule. Communicating with them is a great approach too. Hate speech and derogatory ones are dealt with accordingly.
It really depends. But I block them almost right away if things are serious.
I would say 2-3 chances. But I think it really depends. If it is a serious matter then I'd block them immediately.
